    General Information

The 4th International Symposium on Next-Generation Electronics (ISNE 2015) will be held at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Taipei, Taiwan from May 4th to 6th, 2015. In response to the growing global interest the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ISNE were held successfully in Kaoshiung in 2010, 2013 and Taoyuan in 2014. The conference is supported by the IEEE Electron Devices Society, IEEE Taipei Section, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan.

The ISNE 2015 will feature plenary and invited talks by famous scientists in solid-state technologies and devices, thin-film devices, opto-electronics, green and power electronics, bio-electronics, and design/CAD for integrated circuits and systems. All accepted papers will be invited to submit to the IEEE Xplore database with Engineering Index (EI).

Out of the papers presented at the ISNE 2015, the technical program committee will select and recommend best papers for book chapters and special issue after appropriate revision.

The subject of book chapters is “Nano Devices and Sensors” to be published by De Gruyter publisher http://www.degruyter.com/dg/page/525. The final manuscript with 12 chapters will be due 4 months after the conference.

The subject of the second book chapters is “Green Photonics and Smart Photonics” to be published by River Publishers http://www.riverpublishers.com/ The final manuscript with 12 chapters will be due 5 months after the conference.

The subject of special issue is “Novel opto-electronic devices ” to be published by Fiber and Integrated Optics (SCI journal) http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/ufio20/current#.U_W4T_mSxV1 . The special issue will be published about 6 months after the conference.

We invite contributions describing the latest scientific and technological research results in subjects including, but not restricted to: (1) Green photonics, (2) Microelectronic Circuits and Systems, (3) Computer and Communication Engineering (4) Electronic Devices, and (5) Optoelectronic and Semiconductor Technologies
